HEALTH AND ACTIVITY

To enjoy this trip in Portugal, you should be in good health and able to walk reasonable distances, often over unpaved and uneven surfaces. Some of the most memorable sightseeing can only be accomplished on foot. The amount of walking you do, however, is at your discretion. Portugal is home to innumerable historic buildings and sites, many dating from ancient or medieval times. Therefore, roads, walkways and architecture may present difficulties for some guests with physical disabilities. We conduct walking tours in most of the cities visited.

We regret that we’re unable to provide individual assistance to guests with walking difficulties or other personal needs. The responsibility of the Episode Tour Escort who accompanies your trip is to ensure that the larger group enjoys a relaxing and informative journey, and he or she cannot be relied upon to provide ongoing individual assistance to any one guest. Guests requiring such individualized assistance must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion who can provide it.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Should you have any special requests, please indicate them in writing. We try to arrange for all special requests to be met but cannot issue guarantees that they will be, nor is Episode Travel with Art liable should any special request not be met.

Our tours are not able to include all specific needs regarding accommodation for persons with disabilities. Where your party includes somebody needing such special arrangements, please provide early indication of the respective details. Episode – Travel with Art will try to meet all requirements but are unfortunately still unable to guarantee that all accommodation, transport and facilities are equipped and appropriate for wheelchair users or disabled persons.

MINORS

Minors, when not accompanied by parents (or adults with parental authority), must have authorisation from the relevant parental authority or from another legally authorised person.
